A little about Naa….
I am an African. My family is from Ghana, West Africa. I was born in New York but I’ve lived between both Ghana and the United States. I am currently obtaining a Management degree from Georgia State University and currently work in the fashion and music industry.
I am an artist. I am a songwriter and I play the acoustic guitar. Creating music is my therapy. It’s a look into my life experiences, and it helps me to express another shade of Naa ~ Coco Remi.
I am a model. I love taking pictures. I realized it teaches you how to embody the fullness of your womanhood. Thru modeling I am able to reinvent myself and inspire other woman, like me to do the same…
I am an Activist. I am a part of the fight to end child sex trafficking. Child sex trafficking is a serious epidemic that does not just occur overseas but in the United States as well. Georgia is one of the leading states experiencing this crisis. There are over 300 young girls’ n boys being trafficked each month. I assist in bringing awareness to this dilemma through attending rallies, seminars and events that raise money to support shelters and rehabilitation programs for these young children…
I am someone who is passionate about life. I am passionate about sharing myself with the world through being a blessing to others, through my talents and giftings and through being able to stand up for those who are unable to stand up for themselves. I came to be a part of the change…

A little about the pageant…
Miss Ghana USA was founded by Gloria Ofosuah Opare. Miss Opare was born in Accra Ghana and is a member of the Akan tribe. Miss Opare grew up in both the United States and Ghana. Miss Opare first came to the United States at the age of 11 and has been spending a few years at a time continually in each country since. As she grew up, Miss Opare competed in several pageants and placed in the 2001 Miss Ghana Canada.
Having experienced the challenges involved in gaining a good education; faced the difficulties in obtaining grants, scholarship, and student loans. Along with the stresses of keeping a family and being a single mother.
Miss Opare decided that she would do what she can to help other Ghanaian women achieve their individual visions.
